Bay Area Minority Law Student Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $10,000 yearly.
DURATION: Three years.
DEADLINE: May 17.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be students from minority groups who are underrepresented in Bay Area law schools; and must have received a "letter of admission" from one of the eight Northern California law schools.

Melvin Henderson-Rubio Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $5,000.
DURATION: One year.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 1.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be minority students who have plans to enroll from a home address in the greater Los Angeles area.

The California Endowment and AACN Minority Nurse Faculty Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $18,000.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be enrolled full-time in an accredited graduate nursing program; a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or qualified immigrant; resident of the state of California; an underrepresented Minority, (Caucasian/non-Hispanic applicants are not eligible); committed to teach nursing in the United States after successful completion of graduate studies.

AAA Minority Dissertation Fellowship Program
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $10,000.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 1.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be U.S. citizens; must be members of an underrepresented ethnic minority group including, but not limited to: African Americans, Alaskan Natives, American Indians or Native Americans, Asian Americans, Latinos, Chicanos and Pacific Islanders; must be enrolled in a full-time academic program leading to a doctoral degree in anthropology; must be admitted to degree candidacy before the dissertation fellowship is awarded; and be members of the American Anthropological Association.

AAMFT Minority Fellowships

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be American citizens or permanent residents with permanent resident registration card; must demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in ethnic minority mental health and substance abuse services; must be enrolled full-time in a Marriage and Family Therapy doctoral program; must be an African American, Alaskan Native, American Indian, Asian American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.

Acoustical Society of America Minority Fellowships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: No specific amount.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States at the time of application; a member of an ethnic minority group (Hispanic, African-American or Native American) that is underrepresented in the sciences; and accepted into, or good academic standing in, a graduate degree program.

Affirmative Action Mini Grants and Student Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: Maximum of $600.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 2.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be members of a group who have experienced historical discrimination (i.e., African American, Asian American, Native American, persons of Hispanic descent); enrolled in criminal justice, criminology or related programs; available for undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students.

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $7,500.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 3.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must: be full-time undergraduate students majoring only in Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information technology (computer science, management information systems, IST); be enrolled as a junior in fall; have a minimum GPA of 3.0; be women and/or members of the following minority groups: American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander. AMA Foundation Minority Scholars Awards

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a current first or second year student and a permanent resident or citizen of the U.S.; must be African American, American Indian, Native American, Alaska Native or Hispanic/Latino.

American Dream Scholarship Program

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen; with a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; meet the criteria of Pell Grant eligibility; must be enrolled full-time at an accredited, undergraduate institution.

American Physical Society Minority Undergraduate Scholarships

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be African American, Hispanic American, or Native American US citizens or permanent residents who are majoring or planning to major in physics; must be high school seniors, college freshmen or sophomores.

AMS/Industry Minority Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $3,000/year.
DURATION: Two years.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a minority student entering the freshman year of college; planning to pursue a career in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences; a U.S. citizen or hold permanent resident status; and must be pursuing a degree at a U.S. institution.

APS Scholarships for Minority Undergraduate Physics Majors
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $2,000 (for new minority scholars); $3,000 (for renewal students) to be used for tuition, room & board and educational materials.
DURATION: One year.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any African-American, Hispanic American, or Native American U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is majoring or planning to major in physics; a high school senior, college freshman, or sophomore is eligible to apply for the scholarship.

APTA Minority Scholarships - Faculty Development Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: $8,000 plus plaque and certificate.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 1.
DEADLINE: December 1.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident; a member of one of the racial/ethnic minority groups (African-American or Black, Asian, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic/Latino); be a physical therapist, a full-time faculty member, teaching in an accredited or developing professional physical therapist education program; must possess a license to practice physical therapy in a U.S. jurisdiction or have met all the requirements for licensure in a U.S. jurisdiction; enrolled as a student in a regionally accredited post-professional doctoral program whose content has a demonstrated relationship to physical therapy; must demonstrate continuous progress toward the completion of his/her post-professional doctoral program in a timely fashion; must demonstrate commitment to minority services and activities; must demonstrate a commitment to further the physical therapy profession through teaching and research; and must not have received the award in prior years.

AWG Minority Scholarships

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a woman who is African-American, Hispanic, or Native American; full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in the geosciences at an accredited college or university (high school students who will enter one of these fields during their freshman year may also apply).

Ballard Family Foundation Scholarships
FUNDS AVAILABLE: No specific amount.
DURATION: One year.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: 4.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be a student between the ages of 17-25; have been in foster care; have demonstrated financial need; have a minimum high school GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale or a 2.75 college GPA on a 4.0 scale; and be attending an accredited four-year university, two-year college or licensed trade/vocational school in the U.S.

Bill Bernbach Diversity Scholarships

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be African Americans, Native Americans, or Hispanic Americans; must be full-time students in their final year at one of the following 4A's participating portfolio schools: Miami Ad School, Ad Center at Virginia Commonwealth University, Portfolio Center, Creative Circus, University of Texas at Austin, Art Center of Design at Pasadena; must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
